2026 brings new beginnings
New year, new logo incorporating a sketch rendition of one of my camphor laurel surf fins!
Behind the scenes
To start the year I have been focusing on procuring new sources of timber and stocking up with old suppliers. Bowl blanks have come in from Pops Shed with a focus on some magnificent Camphor Laurel and exotics have been arriving from the likes of Carving and Turning timber sales.
I am obsessed with Walnut lately and have found a supplier whom seems to have good supply at a reasonable price!
I have also had a focus on making and keeping some things for myself, giving me the freedom to experiment with new ideas, a few you may have already seen on my social feeds this rattle made from a piece of Walnut, curly Maple and recycled skateboard!
A rattle made from walnut, skateboard and maple to be kept in the family
The Walnut focused drop is now live!
Kicking off a new idea this year I am releasing seasonal drops, giving me the ability to streamline my workflow, as many of you would know I continue to work full time as well as run Ourlittleshed as a positive creative outlet for myself so streamlining each part of the process should help me be more efficient.
